• “EPSF” files are being created by some fancier drawing programmes.
but neither copying nor zooming is very good.
• “Open PICT File” yields the best quality viewing and copying but a very slow updating of the window content, e.g. when scrolling.
if you save a file with the ‘PICT’ option being selected.
• “Open PICT File As Bitmap” converts the PICT file into a Paint file and displays the converted file. This yields fast scrolling,
• “Paint” files have the file type ‘PNTG’, e.g. MacPaint generates them. Most clip art is of this type.
• “PICT” files have the file type ‘PICT’, e.g. MacDraw generates them,
